Embedding financial literacy into the heart of cities
The IMC Financial Freedom Project provides K-12 students with interactive learning experiences on critical financial concepts tied to state standards. In addition to the students, the IMC Financial Freedom Project provides financial education and resources to families, faculty, and staff as a way to holistically wrap around the school community.
The IMC Financial Freedom Project is the first of its kind to offer grade level, culturally relevant financial education along with practical tools.
The IMC Financial Freedom Project team has proactively established a financial literacy program, meticulously crafted to address all stipulations of the recently enacted law that mandates personal financial literacy and money management course completion for public high school students prior to graduation. Furthermore, we have aligned our concepts and curriculum to address the Numeracy act for K-5 students and math standards for middle school participants.

Co-facilitated workshops lead by an industry expert are offered multiple times a month on topics ranging from Public Service Loan Forgiveness, to Budgeting to Medicare and more.

consulting for parents & staff
No-cost, confidential, and personalized 1:1 financial consulting available to the faculty/staff and the parents/caregivers of students at our 20 partner schools. They can now schedule one-on-one consultations with financial experts who are providing professional guidance to help manage financial issues, identify immediate action steps, and make referrals to other services at no cost.

Financial Empowerment Fair
The financial empowerment fair is a one-day event that educates participants on financial wellness basics and provides direct access to organizations and programs that could provide immediate financial relief, stability, and guidance.
